What began as a quest to teach a few friends to play Mahjong, maybe start a monthly mom's night, quickly turned into what is now WNY Mahjong. Hi, I'm Amelia, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by trade, and a lifelong lover of games. When I learned about Mahjong, I knew if I could play it I would want to do so all the time. Now, I get the joy of meeting so many people across the Buffalo area through private lessons, group play, and however you want Mahjong to be part of your world!
WNY Mahjong was founded in the spirit of learning and collaboration to bring the game to anyone who is curious, and I've loved watching our community grow from small kitchen tables to packed events. Whether you've never touched a tile or you're ready to sharpen your strategy, I'm here to make the learning process fun, approachable, and genuinely exciting.
